Dragon is well known as the king of snake specie which they look so powerful and frightening according to the legendary, especially in China’s prehistory. This kind of creature we have seen only in the movie, the sculpture on the temple wall or the story book release, but we never see it in the real world. Moreover, it also stands for the sign of good luck, power and best guardian for the king or god, particularly in Chinese culture. The Chinese usually celebrate a lot of ceremony in their culture with the present of dragon picture because they believe that it can bring them good luck after finish the event celebrating. So dragon is the symbol of high status ranking among other animals in human’s belief that why the dragon symbol always with top ranking class of people in the society like the king family, the commanders or top leaders of the organization.
On the other hand, the Bangladeshi cartoonist decorate the dragon picture as pet in a funny way with many different daily objects in order to make more fun for the visitors.
“Everything we know about you guys is wrong,” said Hiccup in the DreamWorks Animation movie How to Train Your Dragon. “They’re not what we think they are. We don’t have to kill them.”
Bangladeshi cartoonist twins Manik and Ratan are doing their part to put dragons in the new light. The twin brothers illustrates this adorable creature interacting with everyday objects, such as toy cars, a toothbrush, a magnifying glass, and cellphone. The series started by an accident. Once they drew a cartoon dragon. “Somehow that dragon looked so adorable that we thought, what if it interacted with the pencil,” told Manik and Ratan to Interviewer. “So we drew the dragon which was poked by a pencil. It was so much fun seeing that dragon was annoyed.”
